The Sekane Creche gets a makeover!

With the generous donation from P.Trimborn Agency, we began the upgrade of the Sekane creche in April 2016. We employed a local builder who used Sekane community members for all the tasks that were on hand.

Moomins Move

Little Moomin was found on Kwandwe Private Game Reserve in the Eastern Cape in July 2017. She was found huddled up next to her dead mothers body. It is unknown why Moomins mother passed away but she left behind a little 3 month old calf.

100 Christmas Wishes Come True

The Zululand Conservation Trust built and supports two creches in our neighbouring communities. Between the two crèche, we care for about 61 children between the ages of 2-7. At the end of each school year we treat the children to a fun Christmas party with sweets, cake, Christmas carols and presents.

Rhino De-horning

The Zululand Conservation Trust supported the Manyoni Private Game Reserves decision in dehorning their entire rhino population. This was a difficult resolution that was made after much deliberation. It is no easy task to deface such an iconic animal, but when that is the only option to keep them safe from poachers then it is what has to be done.
